Who is the greatest inventor?

The world is really blessed with many great inventors. Giving an undisputable answer to this question is therefore almost impossible. Nevertheless, a few of them deserve the accolade; one of which is Thomas Alva Edison. Thomas Edison was an American inventor and businessman with 1093 patents to his name. 1093? Wow.
