I am committed to translating research into real-world impact, particularly in mental health and youth development. I am passionate about volunteering and have contributed to initiatives in mental health, community development, and STEM education, impacting over 1,500 young people.
My goal is to impact 10,000 young persons in the next 10 years.

Mental Health Volunteering
Affiliation: Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI)
- Led mental health programmes impacting 300+ individuals, including conversation cafés, mental health walks, and awareness initiatives in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.
Mindfullness and Youth Development
Affiliation: Mastercard Foundation Scholarship
- Facilitated a mindfulness and self-awareness training session on mental health for ~120 secondary school students in Kigali, Rwanda.
- Organised and led an online community development project to teach ~40 African university students the Python programming language.
Leadership and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Affiliation: RISE Initative
- Led leadership bootcamps impacting 600+ students in 3 secondary schools in my hometown, Oyo, Nigeria.
- The students were lectured on career management, leadership lifestyle and introduction to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

- Facilitated an SDG-focused educational session for ~50 students at the Bayero University Kano (BUK) Secondary School, Kano, Nigeria, enhancing awareness and understanding of global sustainability goals.
- Led and coordinated meetings and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiatives in Kano State, Nigeria, driving community engagement and awareness.
Career and Sex Education

- Organized and facilitated a career and sex education seminar for ~80 public secondary school students in Oyo town.
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) Education

- Participated in an online webinar to discuss the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and ways to ameliorate them.
- Contributed novel ideas in group discussions and brain storming sessions of the organization in the Kano state chapter, Nigeria.
